October Featured Author: Tina Ann Forkner

Today is the day I introduce October’s featured author

TINA ANN FORKNER

And her novel

RUBY AMONG US

Ruby Among Us has received glowing reviews and I’m itching to get to my beach chair so I can start reading it. Tina is a fantastic author and she’s cute as a button too. Here’s a little more about her:

Tina Ann Forkner writes contemporary fiction that challenges and inspires. Originally from Oklahoma, she graduated with honors in English from CSU Sacramento before ultimately settling in the wide-open spaces of Wyoming where she lives with her husband and their three bright children. Tina serves on the Laramie County Library Foundation Board of Directors, volunteers with her local Mothers of Preschooler group, and enjoys gardening and spending time outdoors with her family.

Now, a little something about Ruby Among Us to whet your appetite:

Sometimes, the key that unlocks your future lies in someone else’s past…

Set in the lush vineyards of present and past Sonoma Valley, Ruby Among Us weaves a story of three generations of women and the memory that binds their hearts together. Journey with Lucy as she searches for a heritage long buried with her mother, Ruby, in this stirring tale of remembrance and redemption.

Here’s what a few people are saying about Ruby Among Us:

  • Readers will not want this story to end.” – Awarded 4 1/2 Stars – Romantic Times Book Reviews
  • “What an incredible story. Tina writes in a way that makes us feel like we’re there; from the first line, we were captivated and drawn into an intricate weaving of the precious and fragile relationships that define us.” –Point of Grace
  • “Ruby Among Us is a haunting, beautifully-told novel of past secrets and present pain. Lovely, lovely voice and story. A remarkable debut by Tina Ann Forkner, an author to watch.”Colleen Coble, author of Anathema
