Favorite Christmas Gifts

I have officially de-Christmasfied my house. I love the significance and meaning of the holiday, but I’m glad it’s over. I’ve even put up my Valentine tree. It’s a tiny, white, stick tree adorned with red hearts and wooden heart shaped ornaments. It’s cute on my fireplace mantle. I also have an Easter tree that I adorn with bunny ornaments. I like a little bit of seasonal flair (you’ll hear more about this closer to Easter).

Now that everything is starting to fall back into place, I’ve had a lot of time to enjoy my Christmas gifts. Of all the wonderful things I received, my favorite has to be the 4 parallel Bible my family gave me. This Bible is awesome. Four seperate translations are side by side. This will be wonderful when researching articles. My second favorite gift is the movie “Becoming Jane.” I’ve seen about three-quarters of this movie, but never the end. I thought it was a wonderful picture and will watch it several times over.

Other favorite Christmas gifts from the Clark household:

Computerguy–New car stereo, Age of Empires-Asian Dynasty

Soccerboy–Guitar Hero World Tour, Deca Sports for Wii

Chatterbox–Big, comfy chair, Pink Nintendo DS

What were your favorite gifts?

  1. My mom passed away three years ago. For several years before she died my siblings and I bought her pieces to a Lennox nativity set. I found it in the closet when I was at my Dad’s for Christmas. He said that if it was ok with my siblings, I could have it. It is mine:)

    • I have many treasured gifts from my grandmothers, and even a beloved great-grandmother. Those are the best.

While home, I was told I could have the ceramic Nativity set that my grandmother made and painted. I look forward to it adorning my mantle next Christmas.
