Leave It To Chance–My Review

Leave It to Chance

By Sheri Sand

Chance is a tired old horse that Sierra inherits from a person she barely remembers. She has no place to keep him, no way to feed him, and unpaid bills stacking up. The only option she sees is selling him. Her mother and children see things differently.

Through the unwelcomed help of her mother, free boarding for Chance is found. Ross, a hunky local landscaper, has the land and a barn that’s unoccupied. Against her better judgment, Sierra allows her children to keep the horse. Now she has to overcome her paralyzing fear of horses so her children can enjoy their pet.

Leave it to Chance is a fun beach read. The story line is predictable, but the horse gives it a refreshing lift. There was a clever little twist at the end I truly enjoyed. All the characters are full of depth and easily relatable, giving the real life drama of the storyline credibility.

· Character—Sid, can’t help but love him
