“Sometimes, All A Person Needs Is A Little Perspective”

Perspective, that’s all a person needs to change their life, or maybe a “Jones” to point that out.
Andy Andrews does a fantastic job pointing out this simple truth. He weaves an intriguing story of a man named Jones and how he impacts many lives in Orange Beach, Alabama. Jones always seems to be in the right place at the right time to shepherd the down-trodden and misguided. His insight goes beyond mere common sense and into the deepest part of human reasoning. Everyone who meets Jones is changed for the better.

The Noticer is a book that will touch you to the core. It uses Bible based principals without reciting Scripture. Even unbelievers will be touched by this book. It’s short, and to the point, but chocked full of uplifting and life changing inspiration. This book will be fantastic for book clubs and discussion groups.

  1. Easy read. Nice storyline. Good advice from cover to cover BUT where is God? What happened to prayer? Where is good sound advice from the Bible?

Can mankind really help himself just by a new perspective? “Self-help/personal growth”.

Thomas Nelson did not do a very good job of applying Biblical Standarts to this book.

Just what I get from reading this book!

    • I hear what you are saying.

Many of the people encountered don’t know God, or they wouldn’t be in the predicaments they find themselves. They all have a need that must be met. Before they can truly understand who God is, their basic physical, or emotional needs must be met. That’s what Jones did. He put them on a track to see who God is.

The ones Jones encountered that are Christians, for one reason or another, have lost the sight of the important picture. When this happens we need to look at the practical before we can truly see God’s blessings, or direction.

  2. This sounds like an amazing book! I’m glad you mentioned it to me, I might not of seen it otherwise. I might have to get a few for our bookstore at church or see if someone wants to use it in a small group. Thanks for the blog!
